Sao Chang College hosts workshop on data collection

DIMAPUR — The department of History at Sao Chang College, Tuensang, organised a workshop on “Data collection for history writing” on March 27 for the BA sixth semester History honours students.

According to an update, Dr. Iris Odyuo, an associate professor from the department of History, was the resource person during the workshop.

She emphasised the significance of collecting data from both primary and secondary sources to ensure reliability and accuracy in constructing a comprehensive understanding of past events, societies, and cultures in historical writing.

Altogether, 31 participants, including faculty members, took part in this workshop.
