Sao Chang college hostels dedicated; Parents teachers meet

Dimapur, July 21 (EMN): The Sao Chang Government College, Tuensang boys and girls hostels which were constructed by DUDA department were inaugurated and dedicated by pastors of five churches of Sakshi Sector, Tuensang, on July 3.
The hostels were opened with contributions from principal, teaching faculty and other generous individuals as there was no fund for the furniture and utensils to start hostels. The basic necessities of urgent requirements were purchased from the free-well donation fund generated. The hostels were able to start functioning from July 3, due to the concerted efforts of the Hostels Committee of the College.
The Sao Chang Government College, Tuensang expressed its gratitude to the DUDA department for constructing the hostels.
The programme was attended by the 3 NAP Sector president, GBs, teaching faculty, ministerial staff, hostellers, guardians and well-wishers.
Meanwhile, Sao Chang Government, Tuensang Parent-Teacher Association held meeting on July 21, at the College auditorium under the chairmanship of co-ordinator of Parent-Teacher Association, SCC, Yanglikhumla.
In the meeting, various issues regarding the infrastructural improvement of the College were deliberated at length. After thorough discussion, the house decided in purchasing 40 pieces of reading chairs for the college library, repairing of the existing toilets in the college campus and purchasing of water tank for college.
