Samsung to launch new Galaxy M53 5G with 108MP camera in India
Dimapur, April 18 (EMN): South Korean tech giant Samsung on Monday announced that it will launch the Galaxy M53 5G, its next M-series smartphone, in India on April 22.
The Galaxy M53 5G comes with a 6.7″ Super AMOLED InfinityO Display with 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
On the camera department, the Galaxy M53 5G boasts a quad-camera setup which includes a 108MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro lens. For selfie duties, there is a 32MP shooter on the front of the device.

The device will reportedly be powered by a Dimensity 900 chipset with two Cortex-A78 cores at 2.4 GHz. The device will have a 6GB RAM and at least 128GB of internal storage. Samsung has yet to confirm if there are other variants of the device with higher RAM and storage.
The Galaxy M53 5G will come with a 5,000 mAh battery and support for 25W fast charging. Other notable features of the device includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C, 5G support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2 and GPS/ A-GPS.
Samsung has yet to reveal the price of the devices but the base 6GB/128GB model is expected to be priced at around the INR 30K range.
