Samsung launches new Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra
South Korean tech giant, Samsung, has recently launched its latest flagship Galaxy S23 series of android smartphones. The company revealed the highly anticipated devices during the Galaxy Unpacked event where it showed three variants of its S-series lineup: the Galaxy S23 Ultra, the Galaxy S23+, and the Galaxy S23.
All three devices are powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoCs which promises to deliver smooth performance as well as better camera capabilities. All three devices feature the same 12MP front facing camera that is capable of Super HDR video recording at 60fps.
The company claims that the new S23 series of devices have enhanced night photography capabilities with the addition of a host of new features like Night Selfie, Night Portraits, Crisp and Stable Night Video, and more. The company also revealed that the new Galaxy S23 lineup includes features like Vision Booster, which adjusts colors according to surrounding ambient light, and an Enhanced Comfort feature, which helps reduce eye strain.
Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+
Both the Galaxy S23 and S23+ feature the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, as well as a triple camera setup consisting of a 12MP Ultra-wide Dual Pixel camera, a 50MP Wide camera, and a 10MP Telephoto camera.
The vanilla Galaxy S23 comes with a 3,900mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. It also features a 6.1″ Dynamic AMOLED 2x panel with FHD+ resolution and 48-120Hz refresh rate. It gets 8GB of RAM along with storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.

On the other hand, the new Galaxy S23+ features a bigger 6.6″ AMOLED panel and a 4,700mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. It gets 8GB RAM along with storage options of 256GB and 512GB.
Both devices support wireless charging, wireless power-sharing, 6GHz Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
The Galaxy S23 comes in four colours: Black, Cream, Green, and Lavender. On the other hand, the Galaxy S23+ comes in just two colour options: Black and Cream.
You can pick up the Galaxy S23 in India at a starting price of INR 79,999, while the Galaxy S23+ is available at a starting price of INR 94,999.
Galaxy S23 Ultra
The new Galaxy S23 Ultra features a 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED 2x panel with QHD+ resolution. It has support for 1Hz to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
On the camera department, the Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with a quad-camera setup including a Samsung’s 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor as its main camera. The upgraded main camera enables the device to perform better in low-light conditions and enhanced 8K video recording at 30fps and 4K video at up to 120fps. The main camera can capture 200MP, 50MP, and 12.5MP pictures using pixel binning technology.
Additionally, there is a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 10MP 3x telephoto lens, and another 10MP periscope sensor with 10x optical zoom to complete the quad-camera setup.

The phone boasts a massive 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging and 15W wireless fast charging support.
Other notable features include support for sub6 and mmWave 5G support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB-C port. The Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with a built-in S Pen.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra offers 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB options for storage. The base model of the Galaxy S23 Ultra is available at a starting price of INR 1,24,999.
