Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s ‘raped woman’ remark created a lot of uproar. From various media houses to celebrities like Kangana Ranaut, Anurag Kashyap condemned the Sultan star. The Maharashtra State Commission for Women (MSCW) in fact issued a fresh summon to Salman Khan asking him to appear before it on July 7 over his rape remarks. However, ever since the controversy erupted, Salman has managed to stay mum on the issue. But the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor finally opened up on the issue during his appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show.
During his interaction with the host of the show when Kapil, stated, “Aaj kal Salman bhai ko har cheez soch kar bolni padti hai.” (Nowadays we have to be cautious before speaking anything in public). To this Salman added, “Aaj Kal toh Modi JI bhi bhashan kum dene lage.”In fact, during the show, Salman once again happened to explain how painful it was to shoot for the wrestling sequence. However, he managed to keep quiet after his co-star Anushka stared at him. During a media interaction on June 18, Salman had said he ‘felt like a raped woman’ after shooting a gruelling wrestling sequence for ‘Sultan’. However, he was quick enough to add that he shouldn’t have said it.
