Sakraba students session conclude
Dimapur, Dec. 29 (EMN): A two-day 56th general session of Sakraba Students’ Union (SSU) held at Lohe Khel in Sakraba village under Phek district on the theme “Discover the differences” concluded on December 29.
Gracing the session on Wednesday, Zaveyi Kezo, state BJP secretary, called upon the people to pay due attention towards human resources development. In this regard, he urged the parents to invest more towards the development of intellectual, mental, physical, emotional, and social abilities in a child.
Stating that the holistic development of a child is of utmost importance, he also challenged the parents to continue encouraging their children to be an asset and not a liability to the society.
Touching on the session theme “Discover the differences,” Kezo challenged the students to take a corrective step and decision for a healthy and successful academic career. He told the students to know their duties and discover their talents and abilities.
On the union motto “Hard labour triumph,” Kezo informed that there is no shortcut to success and called upon the students to work hard and be achievers. Also citing the advantages and disadvantages of using mobile phones, he told the students to use the same for the right purpose and also not to misuse them.
The president of Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU), Vetho Vadeo shared greetings while the president of Centre Chakhesang Public Organisation (CCPO), Niehiisa Cükhamu, also exhorted the gathering and SSU president Vesüto D Vadeo delivered presidential address.
Meanwhile, SSU election commissioner Lehü Lohe announced the new team of SSU for the tenure 2022-2023 led by Vetho Lohe as president with Kiithono Ciikhamu as general secretary.
Quiz competition was also organised during the valedictory function with Dozhoyi Cükhamu, assistant jailor of District Jail Phek as the quiz master.
Earlier, Zhoi Lohe, SDO (C) Phek, spoke at the introductory session-cum-seminar on “Focus on competitive exam” on December 28.
