Dimapur, Sep. 4 (EMN): Sakipheto Range Students’ Union (SRSU) undertook its first phase inspection tour to government schools on August 27. During the tour, the union inspected Government Primary School, Pherima (Alato village) and Government Middle School, Sapikheto.
A press release issued by the union on Wednesday thanked the teachers for their dedication and punctuality in their service towards the students. The union also thanked the community for actively maintaining the decorum of the school. The team observed an increase in the strength of students.
However, the team observed shortage of textbooks for the students and shortage of teachers on specific subjects. In this regard, the union has requested the concerned authority to address the problem at the earliest.
Addressing the teaching faculty, the team also requested not to indulge in proxy teaching. SRSU further informed to undertake its 2nd phase of inspection soon.
