Sainik School Punglwa sub junior volleyball c’ship concludes

Dimapur, July 31 (EMN): Sainik School Punglwa annual Inter-House Sub Junior Volleyball Championship 2017 that commenced on July 24 concluded on Saturday, July 29. Patkai House emerged as the champion house after a tough fought match with Japfu House. The third position was bagged by Tizu House. During the championship all the six houses gave their best to get hold of the top position. The matches were played on league cum knockout basis. Cadet Lobsang Zimba of Patkai house was adjudged the best player of the championship.Chief Guest, Gp Capt Sanjay Gaekwad, Principal, Sainik School Punglwa gave away the medals and certificates to the winners. In his short address, he congratulated the participants for exhibiting a disciplined team spirit. He further encouraged the cadets to keep practicing and to strive for a place in the school volleyball team.
