Dimapur, Sep.15 (EMN): Sainik School Punglwa organised ‘Hindi Pakhwada’ to promote Hindi and encourage cadets to use the language to their advantage during communication. Inter-house competitions such as calligraphy, monologue, speech, general knowledge, essay writing and quiz were conducted for the cadets as part of the celebration from September 1 to 14, an update informed on Tuesday.
After the fortnight-long competition, Patkai House emerged as the overall winner of the competition whereas Tizu House and Doyang House secured second and third positions respectively. An online quiz was conducted on the final day, and the principal of the school, Prasun Basu was the chief guest, it read.
