Sainik School observes Kargil Vijay Diwas

Speeches on Kargil heroes, art and painting competition, wreath laying at Capt Kenguruse memorial bust by the officiating principal of the school Lt. Col. M Kiran Meitei, school cadets captain, senior master and office superintendent, motivational lecture by the officiating principal, power point presentation on Operation Vijay by cadets of Class XII and sweet distribution for the cadets were some of the highlights of the celebration. The celebration reminded and educated the cadets on the historical importance of the Kargil War. The officiating principal, in his speech, stressed upon the need to be committed to a cause in order to achieve success in life.
