SAGF felicitates Wezope Kenye

Dimapur, Feb. 28 (EMN): Secheku Area Graduates’ Fellowship (SAGF) felicitated the secretary of Health and Family Welfare department, Wezope Kenye, on his induction to the India Administrative Service (IAS) during a programme held at Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima on February 27.

Sharing about his journey in life, Kenye stated that unlike his generation, the present generation has access to unlimited resources, better infrastructure, and connectivity. He, therefore, encouraged them to utilise those facilities for positive impact.

He also motivated the youths to be rooted, dream, follow their passion, bold and persistent and accountable to achieve in any field, an update from SAGF stated.

Also speaking on the occasion, retired additional secretary Zachive Thele and the convenor of SAGF advisory board Colo Mero shared greetings and spoke on putting God first in everything.

Mero advised the present generation to focus on developing life skills and be professional to survive saying, “We live in a very competitive world.” He also urged them to learn to be kind, generous, strive for integrity, inspire and give back to the society regardless of their status.

SAGF president Dr. Zavise Rume congratulated Kenye on being the first officer Secheku area to be inducted to IAS cadre.

Rume stated that his induction to IAS cadre has fulfilled the long-felt desire and dream of the people of Chakhesang particularly the people of Secheku area. He urged the younger generation to learn from his success and persevere to bring more laurels to the area.

Rume thanked him for his sacrifices, dedication, hard work and sincerity which earned him the title of the highest administrative service in the country. He further appealed all the participants to promote healthy interactions among the intellectuals, share resources and promote career development among the members.

Rev. Dr. Kevekhalo Lasuh, senior pastor of CBCK, blessed the newly inducted IAS officer and his family.
