Dimapur, June 21 (EMN): Sümi Aphuyemi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (SABAK), the apex church association of the Sümis under Pughoboto area, has announced to organise a music festival on the theme ‘Laudate Dominum,’ a Latin word meaning “Praise the Lord” on June 23 and 24 at the Sümi Aphuyemi Baptist Church in Kohima.
According to James S Swu, the highlights of the festival would include workshops, singing competitions and concerts. He added that workshops on sound management, stage artistry, and choral techniques would be conducted by Jackto Wotsa, Alobo Naga and James Swu respectively, all of whom are prominent music artistes from the region.
The concerts would feature prominent bands and musicians such as Alobo Naga and the band, Technicolors, Nagagenous, Bokato Kiho, Vini Chishi and a host of other artistes from the region. The organisers have invited all the public to come and grace the festival.
