S Bendang Aier takes charge as new BJP Mokokchung president

DIMAPUR — S Bendang Aier, the newly appointed president of the BJP Mokokchung district, formally took charge on Thursday in the presence of party officials in a formal ceremony at the BJP Mokokchung district office.

A press release mentioned that the outgoing president, Imolemba Jamir, while delivering a short speech during the event, narrated how he, along with his colleagues, strove the party through thick and thin during the past four years. He also wished the incoming president the very best in achieving the collective aspirations of the party.

Aier, a former BJP Nagaland state secretary, upon taking the new responsibility, congratulated the outgoing office for taking the party thus far in the district. He challenged the BJP Mokokchung party workers to continue their good work of reaching out to the people with renewed vigour and commitment.

He asked every karyakata to make it a mission to reach out to every household in the district and spread the message of ‘sabka saath, sabka vikas’, the BJP government’s slogan under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and assured that the BJP Mokokchung district will continue to be vibrant, strong, and inclusive.
