DIMAPUR — The Rurur Village Council has called off the indefinite bandh on vehicular movement at NH 202, which was initiated due to the lack of road maintenance.
In a press release, the council stated that the decision was made after thorough discussions with the deputy commissioner of Shamator, with the assurance that the road would be repaired at the earliest.
Calling off the indefinite bandh temporarily from October 3, the council stated that if the road is not repaired as assured within 30 days, the village council will not be held responsible and will take its own course of action.
