Runway Nagaland showcases jewellery heritage at The Kunj in New Delhi.

DIMAPUR — Runway Nagaland, a pioneering jewellery brand from Northeast India, has taken a bold step into India’s luxury design circuit with its debut at The Kunj in New Delhi.
Recognised as one of the capital’s most exclusive cultural and lifestyle destinations, The Kunj brought together cutting-edge designers and heritage-inspired artisans, making it a launch-pad for brands that embody both tradition and modernity, an update from Runway Nagaland stated on Saturday.
Founded in 2011, Runway Nagaland has been pioneering indigenous-inspired jewellery from Nagaland, blending tradition with contemporary design. The brand has been recognised by the Government of Nagaland for its excellence in jewellery and art and also received accolades from various government departments, civil organisations and cultural bodies.

It stated that by showcasing its products at The Kunj, the brand has positioned Nagaland’s jewellery not merely as accessories but as luxury collectibles that tell stories of identity, craftsmanship and culture.
The Union Minister of Textiles, Giriraj Singh, inaugurated The Kunj on August 21. The inaugural programme was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Textiles including the secretary (Textiles) of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) and the Development Commissioner (Handlooms) along with representatives from the design and craft industry.
It mentioned that The Kunj attracted global tastemakers, discerning buyers and design enthusiasts, who sought authenticity with sophistication.
It further stated that Runway Nagaland’s presence at The Kunj marked a proud moment for Nagaland and a significant leap towards placing its jewellery and craftsmanship on the global luxury map.
