Rozgar Mela: Sonowal hands over appointment letters to newly inducted youth
Dimapur, Oct. 22 (EMN): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched ‘Rozgar Mela’ at different locations across the country to fill up the vacancies at various departments of central government including Railways.
An update from the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) issued on Oct. 22 informed that the Prime Minister addressed the newly inducted appointees across the numerous locations virtually and congratulated them for their new assignments.
As a part of this ‘Rozgar Mela’ Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Ayush, Sarbananda Sonowal handed over the appointment letters to the newly selected youth at Railway Rang Bhavan Cultural Hall in Guwahati.
Around 200 new appointees from various central government departments including Railways, CBDT, BSF, CISF, CBIC, CRPF, Central bank of India, Postal etc. under Ministry of Finance, Defence, Communication were said to have handed over the appointment letters.
As directed by the Prime Minister, 10 lakh employment opportunities are to be carried out within next 12 months in various central government departments.
In the 1st phase, appointment letters were handed over to 75000 newly inducted appointees across the country, who are prepared to join 38 ministries/departments under the government of India.
