Kohima, March 15 (EMN): The Royal Foundation School, Phek held its week-long annual sports meet under the theme “Believe and achieve” from March 12 to 15th.
An update from the school stated that principal of Royal Foundation School Vitsikolie Kehie, formally declared the sports week open while senior teacher D.P Yadav exhorted the students on the essence of a disciplined sportsperson.
A series of outdoor events were conducted during the meet, in the process of which, the red house emerged as the overall champion with blue house as the runners-up.
Meanwhile, in the march-past competition, blue house and yellow house contingents were placed in the first and second position respectively.
On the last day, an exhibition women’s football match was played between the teachers and students wherein the teachers won the match 4-2 via tie break.
