Rotary Club Kohima organises send-off function

Dimapur, Jan. 19 (EMN): Rotary Club Kohima has organised a brief send-off function for Kautav Ghosh and Ann Laxmi from Rotary Club of Navi Mumbai Sunrise, who were on 101 days pan India road trip called ‘The Great Indian Travel’ at Hotel Blue Bayoo on January 17.

While chairing the function, the president of Rotary Club Kohima Kezhokhoto Savi offered a prayer seeking God’s guidance and protection upon the couple throughout their 101 days pan India road trip. Savi had highlighted the activities of Rotary Club with its motto ‘Service above self.’

An update from Rotary Club of Kohima through its media cell stated that the couple had also shared about their mission powered by ‘I support your business,’ which was aimed at exploring and empowering India on wheels.

It mentioned that the Rotarian couple is undertaking a 101-day road trip campaign to support small and micro business affected by Covid-19 in all the Indian states and union territories. Stating that one of their aims was also to enter into the ‘Guinness Book of Record,’ Rotary Club of Kohima wished the couple all success and good health.
