Dimapur, Aug. 16 (EMN): Rival 7 won the 4th edition penalty shoot-out tournament by defeating Faith Ballers team which was played at Pungro town public ground commemorating the 72nd Independence Day celebration on August 15.
The penalty shoot-out tournament organised by Saramati Nexus Club (SNC), Pungro, was inaugurated by advisor of youth resources and sports, Zale Neikha.
In a tight contest among 23 teams from the entire Pungro sub-division, Rival 7 outplayed other teams to clinch the championship. Faith Ballers were declared runners-up of the tournament.
The event was culminated with the exhibition match between the Wards 1 and 9. Meanwhile, the Saramati Nexus Club, Pungro, has expressed gratitude to all the participants, well wishers, and all individuals for their support and contribution toward the success of the event.
