DIMAPUR — Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has conveyed sadness over the demise of Dr. T Lhouvi Nakhro, former Principal Director of Health and Family Welfare, who passed away on Sunday in Dimapur.
The chief minister in a condolence message described the late Nakhro as a sincere, straightforward and hardworking medical doctor, who served the state government in various capacities with passion and dedication.

"Dr. Lhouvi was down to earth and was loved by many for his gentle and friendly personality. His passing away is a personal loss for me. We have been old-time friends and have many good memories together. The void left by him will be difficult to fill and he will be deeply missed," the message read.
