Dimapur, March 25 (EMN): In view of the government’s order for taking effective measures to prevent and control Covid-19 and the subsequent declaration of lockdown for 21 days, chief minister Neiphiu Rio has assigned ministers and advisors to monitor implementation of effective measures for prevention and control of Covid-19 in the districts.
A press release from the chief minister’s office (CMO), deputy chief minister Y Patton and advisor of Horticulture and Border Affairs Mhathung Yanthan have been made in-charge of Wokha district, while Agriculture minister G Kaito Aye and advisor of Tourism Khehovi Yepthomi have been made in-charge of Zunheboto district and Forest minister CM Chang and advisor of Prison H Haying have been made in-charge of Tuensang district.
Planning minister Neiba Kronu and advisor of CAWD Kazheto Kinimi have been made in-charge of Phek district, while Health minister S Pangnyu Phom and advisor of Industries and Commerce Imnatiba have been made in-charge of Longleng district and Transport minister P Paiwang Konyak and advisor of Fire and Emergency Services Pohwang have been made in-charge of Mon district.
PHED minister Jacob Zhimomi and advisor of Sericulture Zhaleo Rio have been made in-charge of Dimapur district, while Housing minister Tongpang Ozukum and advisor of Urban Development Neikiesalie Kire have been made in-charge of Kohima district and Higher and Technical minister Temjen Imna Along and advisor of Irrigation and Flood Control Namri Nchang have been made in-charge of Peren.
Soil and Water Conservation minister V Kashiho Sangtam and advisor of School Education K Tokugha Sukhalu have been made in-charge of Kiphire district, while Rural Development minister Metsubo Jamir and advisor of Treasuries and Accounts Longrineken have been made in-charge of Mokokchung district.
