DIMAPUR — Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, has condoled the demise of Jemtimenba Mollier, Class-I government contractor, who passed away on April 27 in New Delhi.
Rio stated that Jemti was not only a successful contractor and an entrepreneur but also a philanthropist and compassionate man, who always had a soft corner for the welfare of the society and done several charitable works. Among many others, he mentioned the “Jemtimenba Mollier Foundation,” which was established in 2014 with an aim to promote Ao Naga literature.
In a condolence message to his wife Dr. Nandira Changkija, Rio called Jemtimenba as a dear friend and a brother with whom he had so many wonderful memories. He added that in his demise, the Ao community in particular and the Nagas in general have lost a patron and it would be difficult to fill the emptiness.
Rio further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for peace of the departed soul.
In another statement, the advisor of Information and Public Relations, Soil and Water Conservation, Imkong L Imchen, has described Jemtimenba as a self-made man who struggled on his own and established his business.

Meanwhile, the the Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has described Jemtimenba Mollier as one of the most notable personalities among the Aos, a philanthropist and a veteran in the field of business. It added that he was a compassionate soul, who never hesitated to offer his services for the good of all and contributed much to society through his great wealth of wisdom and experience.
AKM has lamented at the passing away of a visionary leader and towering figure, who was an inspiration to many- both young and old alike. It further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members.
