DIMAPUR, February 4

The Shurhozelie led NPF asked the ‘ring leaders’ of the Noke led NPF to resign while accusing the latter of ‘continously hypnotising’ the ‘upcoming legislators’ and general public with every available tool at their hand. It is unfortunate that rebel/dissident group has resorted to all means of cheap propaganda by twisting every available information with them, it expressed.
“The latest manipulative attempt they have resorted to, is misinterpreting the simple order of the Election Commision of India, by spreading wild rumours through different medium of networking in order to win over the upcoming legislators to obey their command till the last moment,” it alleged.
For the information of general public, the ECI has got nothing to do with party whip which the commission has also very wisely mentioned in its order of February 4, 2015, it said. Hence, the whip issued by the Parliamentary Affairs minister, who is also the chief whip of the NPF legislature party will be binding to all the members of the legislative assembly who were elected from NPF ticket, the Shurhozelie led NPF further stated.
“Therefore, it will be wise on the part of the few ring leaders of dissident group to resign from their membership of the assembly before the trial of strength takes place, so as to save themselves gracefully from disqualification,” it asked. Further, the Shurhozelie group advised the ‘upcoming legislators’ to vote in favour of the government as the party strongly feels that they should not sacrifice their political career by surrendering themselves to the greed and selfish ambition of their ring leaders/seniors.
“The upcoming legislators should realise that they have got a long way to go and therefore they should not be allowed to become victims of power mongers. The ring leaders should not be so cruel as to crucify the upcoming leaders by preventing them from voting in favour of the government, when their fate is clear to meet dead end with leaders of fake party headed by Kaito, Imkong and Noke,” the Shurhozelie led NPF added.
