Rikhi qualifies in inter-university archery tournament

DIMAPUR — Archer Kevikieno Rikhi from Nagaland University has qualified in the recurve round for the Inter-Zonal (All India) Inter-University Archery (Women) Tournament 2023-24, which will be held from Dec. 28 to the 30th.

The North East Zone inter-university tournament was conducted in Panjabi University, Patiala, from Dec. 23 to the 26th. Deputy Director (Sports) of Nagaland University, Dr. Harish Kumar Tiwari, informed that this is the first time in the history of Nagaland University that an archery team participated in competition.

“This is a proud moment for the University and Nagaland to motivate the youth for making their career in sports and to propagate the name of the state,” an update stated.
