The Aries Rifle & Pistol Shooting Academy will be starting training for 2014 National Shooting Competitions in 10 meter air rifle and 10 meter air pistol from March 6 at the Indoor Shooting Range at NST colony, Dimapur. Interested members as well as new shooters can register on or before March 5. The training will be conducted by M.Kanta Meetei, a National shooter from Imphal, Manipur.
Two days free training will be given to interested shooters both boys and girls under youth category (below 18 years of age).
An advanced training will also be conducted in 10 meter air rifle and 50 meter .22 free rifle- three position and prone position from March 6 to 8 by Abemo Kikon, who participated at the 54th Grand Prix of Liberation Plzen Czech Republic in 2012, and scored 594/600 in the small bore event .22 free rifle prone position and has already won 8 medals in the National Shooting Championship competitions in 10 meter air rifle, 50 meter .22 free rifle and 300 meter big bore events since 2007.
