Rhythm of Love: In conversation with Gideon Kithan
A young internet sensation, Gideon Kithan is a seven-year-old guitarist from Nagaland, who has won many hearts with his guitar skills. He is currently studying in Hollotoli School in Dimapur.
Eager to learn new things and with a passion for music, Kithan hopes to pursue what he loves and never give up.

Eastern Mirror: How did you start playing guitar?
Gideon Kithan: I started playing guitar during lockdown when I was five years old.
Eastern Mirror: How many hours do you usually play guitar in a day?
Gideon Kithan: I play guitar 7 – 8 hours a day.
Eastern Mirror: People love your videos and they widely share it on social media platforms. How do you feel?
Gideon Kithan: I feel very blessed and privileged. When I came to know that people are starting to recognise me as a musician, it was like an achievement to me for my hard work. I am very much thankful to all my viewers and well-wishers for their endless love and support.
Eastern Mirror: Do you enjoy performing on stage in front of a big crowd?
Gideon Kithan: Yes, I enjoy a lot.
Eastern Mirror: Who influenced you to play guitar?
Gideon Kithan: My uncle is a guitarist and watching him playing guitar, I was influenced.
Eastern Mirror: Do you play only guitar or other musical instruments?
Gideon Kithan: I play only guitar.
Eastern Mirror: What are your hobbies?
Gideon Kithan: My hobbies are playing guitar, (building) Lego toys and cycling.
Eastern Mirror: What do you want to do when you grow up?
Gideon Kithan: I want to be one of the best guitarists.
Eastern Mirror: Do you have any upcoming original projects that your fans can look forward to?
Gideon Kithan: No plan as of now, but I would definitely want to put forth my original music in the days to come. I request all my well-wishers to kindly uphold me in your prayers and keep supporting me.
