Eastern Mirror: From among the nine originals you have released, which is your favorite and why?

Asiantrooper: Out of nine originals, it is probably ‘Count your blessings’ because it’s all about appreciating the love and blessings we get from God and whenever I re-listen to the song, I am reminded to praise God and do better!

Eastern Mirror: What inspires you while writing lyrics?

Asiantrooper: It is kind of hard to say or express what inspires me to write my lyrics. I can be inspired by anything I see or hear but there’s so specific thing that inspires me.

Eastern Mirror: Is music a full time goal or just a hobby for you?

Asiantrooper: As of now, I’m doing it part time, trying to experiment with new things and trying to find out what is best for me. But I hope and wish to make music my full time career and I am hoping for the best through music.

Eastern Mirror: Is there a dream collaboration you have in mind, with a fellow Naga artiste?

Asiantrooper: I have said it in other interviews too but I would love to work with Temsu Clover in the days to come.

Eastern Mirror: What is the best advice you’ve been given?

Asiantrooper:  “Don’t listen to the nay sayers but focus on your dreams, pray to God, look for improvement and hustle!” That was the best thing a good friend of mine advised.

Eastern Mirror: What are some of the challenges you face as a rising artiste?

Asiantrooper: I faced a lot of challenges in these past few years but if I were to put it into simple words, it would be “Production and promoting the song.”

Eastern Mirror: Any projects in the offing?

Asiantrooper: I’m doing a lot of features this year also. I have an EP coming up for the summer featuring Psycho K4 and Z world.

Eastern Mirror: Any message you want to share with the readers?
