Revelry returns to Kohima Night Carnival
KOHIMA — Even as the rain god played spoil sports since the past two days forcing the vendors to temporarily close down their stalls, people in thousand thronged the Hornbill Night Carnival in Kohima town on Saturday with the weather condition returning to normal.
The festive mood was restored on Saturday night as it allowed stall vendors and visitors alike to enjoy the Hornbill Night Carnival without interruption. This night saw a revival of vibrant activities with artistes performing live songs and dances, contributing to the lively atmosphere.
Talented artistes were seen on the streets to enliven the atmosphere with live songs and dances at the carnival.
The Hornbill Night Carnival, organised by Kohima Chambers of Commerce and Industries (KCCI) holds a significant place in the Hornbill Festival of Nagaland.
As the festivities continue, participants and attendees were seeing looking forward to a vibrant celebration, highlighting the rich cultural tapestry of Nagaland.
