The Nagaland Police took to social media to thank the anonymous group of returnees for their gesture and encouragement.
“Thank you for your co-operation and for your appreciation. We wish you all the very best in your future life. God Bless and keep you. 5 Inmates of Room #19, Sector - A, Block 5 has also donated a sum of INR 850.00 as found in the envelope,” tweeted Nagaland Police on Saturday.
One of the handwritten ‘thank you’ notes of the inmates shared by the Nagaland Police on Twitter read: "We really want to thank our government and chief minister for bringing us back. We also thank the officers, Police department, camp commander, medical staff and cookery (sic) for their hard work to make our quarantine facilities comfortable for everyone. During the few days’ stay here in quarantine, we have learnt a lot."
It went on to say that the only thing the returnees can give in return for their sacrifices was to remember them in their prayers. "We salute you all for your hard work and you are our real warriors of Nagaland."
