Dimapur, April 19 (EMN): Rengma organisation The Rengma Selo Zi (RSZ) has organised its first general conference cum 3rd anniversary celebration programme in Tseminyu town hall on April 17. A press release issued by RSZ media cell on Tuesday informed that advisor of animal husbandry, R Khing, was the special guest during the conference, while Dr. Joshua Lorin, principal of oriental theological seminary, was the speaker.
Speaking on the occasion, Khing has described youth as the ‘most powerful and explosive’ stage in life and urged every youth to be an asset to the society by fearing God.
Dr. Joshua encouraged the youth to be willing to change and open to correction. He urged them to keep strong faith and be trust worthy as it prepares to bring change in the society. He called upon the RSZ’s members to play vital role and take upon the challenge to bring about change in the society. He further conveyed best wishes to the RSZ in their endeavour.
The programme was attended by representatives from all Rengma villages, VCC, and churches and youth members. Besides, the additional deputy commissioner of Tseminyu, Theodore Yanthan; officials from the department of animal husbandry; Rengma officers; and public leaders also attended the conference.
In other matters, Kenneth Kath was informed to have been re-elected to lead the new team for 2018-2021.
