KOHIMA — The relic of Pope Saint John Paul-II arrived in Nagaland at a time when Catholics have just observed the Holy Week and began house blessings rites following Easter Sunday.

Faithful on Sunday flocked in and around Holy Cross Church in Dimapur awaiting their turn to venerate the relic by touching the reliquary in which the fragment of the holy saint’s relic was kept.

It was learned that the relic would be taken to various Catholic churches in districts such as Dimapur, Kohima, Chümoukedima and Wokha and be kept for few days. It is expected that St. Paul's relic would draw large turnout of people at the churches during the sacred activities.
