In a rejoinder to the article titled ‘Sycophancy at its Best’ written by K. Sema, IAS (Retired) which was published on 17th April, 2015 in local newspapers. The Home Commissioner to the Government of Nagaland Neihu C. Thur has refuted and clarified the charges as follows: “ First, Shri Amit Shah, President of the Bharatiya Janata Party was not declared as State Guest by the State Government. The Nagaland Police provided security for him since he is a Z plus Protectee. “Secondly, I had assumed the charge of the Home Commissioner, Nagaland on the 2nd March, 2015 (FN) and till today had not entered inside the Nagaland Police Complex at Chumukedima. Therefore, I would request Shri Khekiye K. Sema to substantiate the allegation/claim that, Quote "The Home Commissioner of Nagaland have been hovering all over the place to ensure that all things are in order "Unquote. If Shri Khekiye K. Sema cannot substantiate his allegation/claim made out in his article referred above he should withdraw the same in regard to the undersigned publicly”. (DIPR)
