Dimapur, March 10 (EMN): Sumi Chess Association Nagaland (SCAN) is organising the All Nagaland Open Chess Championship 2021 from March 25 to the 27th at Tourist Lodge in Dimapur.
An update informed that the tournament would be held in three categories; the entry fee for open category would be INR 1000, while U-16 and U-18 category would be INR 500 respectively.
It stated that interested players for U-16 and U-18 categories would have to submit their valid date of birth certificate (Aadhaar card/Pan/Class 10 admit card if any) as proof to WhatsApp number 8732883086. It added that there would be 50% concession for senior citizens, above the age of 65 years.
Indigenious Nagas or any individual serving in various departments in Nagaland will be eligible to participate in the championship, it informed. The total prize money of the championship is INR 1, 50,000.
