The Mechanized Infantry Regiment Centre (MIRC) Ahmednagar would be conducting a recruitment rally in Ahmednagar to select young boys to train and nurture them for national and international sports competitions in archery and rifle/pistol shooting. The preliminary selection would be held on October 21 from 9 am to 2 pm, while the final selection would be conducted on October 22 and 23 from 9 am to 2 pm at Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, informed a release.
The eligibility age criterion is from 11 to 14 years and the educational qualification of a candidate is class five (5) onwards. A candidate also should have an aptitude for sports.
The press note issued by PRO Defence, Lt. Col Emron Musavi further informed that free lodging and boarding of high standard will be provided with education upto 12th standard and boys would be enrolled in Indian Army after 10th or 12th class.
Stating that the recruitment has come as a golden opportunity for aspiring sportspersons from Nagaland, the PRO Defence has invited them to register themselves for the recruitment to get attached with boys sports company MIRC Ahmednagar.
The PRO Defence has also guaranteed complete careers for the selected boys as they would be trained by the best coaches to compete and participate at the highest level of sports.
