Ravi, Rio convey Mileinyi greetings to Zeliang community

Dimapur, March 10 (EMN): Nagaland Governor RN Ravi and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio have conveyed greetings to the Zeliang community and people of Nagaland on the occasion of Mileinyi festival.

“Mileinyi celebrates purity, benefaction, prosperity and longevity. Traditional games, dances and songs are inherent part of this beautiful festival. It provides a platform for the young people to carry forward the rich and beautiful cultural legacies of the Zeliangs,” read Ravi’s message.

“On this auspicious occasion, I wish you all good health, happiness and prosperity,” it added.

Rio also took to Twitter to greet the Zeliang community on the festive occasion.

“Warm greetings to the Zeliang community on the happy occasion of Mileinyi. I wish you all a safe and a happy festival of invoking bountiful blessings from God. May all your endeavours be successful in all spheres of life,” he wrote.
