Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram team in Phek conducts intensive health campaign.

DIMAPUR — A team of Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) in Phek led by its medical officer Dr. Avono Medoze is actively participating in the ongoing health campaign Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan (SNPA) since September 17.
An update from the office of the chief medical officer (CMO), Phek, stated that the team comprising GNM Vekupolu Vese, ANM Tshewekhro and RBSK coordinator Kotsou Kapfo has been delivering a wide range of essential health services and conducting intensive activities across the district.

The services provided during the campaign include screening of anaemia, hypertension, oral cancer, general health check-ups, vaccination drives, health education talks, referral for advanced care and provided essential medicines. The campaign has been conducted across multiple health units, government health centres, schools and Anganwadi centres.
It stated that RBSK team has reached out to 10 schools covering 1,011 students, 42 AWW centres benefiting 1,001 children and Netaji Chandra Bose Avasiya Vidyalaya girls’ hostel with 53 adolescent girls.
