EMN Dimapur, December 8 Rangdajied United FC might not have had a smooth ride in the I-League as they would have wanted it. After the historic victory against Mohun Bagan just last week after ten winless match, the Shillong side went down fighting to AFC Cup semi-finalist, East Bengal, in Round 12.But that's not the end for Rangdajied United as the fight for survival continues. And come this Wednesday, December 11, Shillong will witness another thrilling encounter, with the Blues gearing up to face Pune FC. "This is how it goes in football. Sometimes you win and sometimes you are in the wrong side of the result. But it doesn't stop with either of them. You have to go on and this is what Rangdajied United is exactly doing. We have put everything behind us and we are now looking forward to Pune FC," said the skipper Eugeneson Lyngdoh. Having said that, Rangdajied will have to pull their shocks up and play every match like a final and gather as many points as possible before the league goes into break after Christmas. This will give the team a cushion and once the season begins again in February, they can approach it with new vigour. "We have been playing well right from the beginning. We drop points in few matches where we could have won easily. Our inexperience was very much exposed in those matches. But that is no more the case. We are a change squad now and I am sure, we will come back strong, said David Ngaihte," the youngster who pumped in two goals against Salgaocar. With focus shifted to Pune FC, the team is confident of another good show against the last season runners up. Nothing but only a win is expected from the host when Shillong lights up again on the evening of December 11.
