Random test confirms six Covid cases in Mokokchung

Mokokchung, May 13 (EMN): Six Covid-19 positive cases were confirmed out of the total 147 nasal swabs collected from two designated locations under Mokokchung municipality on May 13.

Official from the office of the chief medical officer (CMO), Mokokokchung, informed that 85 and 62 swabs were collected between Police Point to Cosmos Hall and Rotary Building (Traffic Point) to Imkongmeren Sports Complex respectively during the random Covid-19 test exercise on Thursday.  

Meanwhile, an official from the district administration informed that out of six Covid-19 positive cases confirmed today, four samples were from Police Point to Cosmos Hall and two samples from Rotary Building (Traffic Point) to Imkongmeren Sports Complex. He added that six business establishments have been sealed in this connection.

It may be mentioned here that during the four-day random Covid-19 antigen card test conducted by CMO Mokokokchung, a total of 302 nasal swabs were collected and 10 returned positive.
