Raj Bhavan bids farewell to additional secretary

Dimapur, Oct. 2 (EMN): The Governor’s Secretariat and staff of Raj Bhavan bade farewell to its retiring additional secretary, George Abraham, during a programme held at the conference hall of Ura Bhavan, Raj Bhavan, on September 30.

Speaking on the occasion, the commissioner and secretary to Governor, T Mhabemo Yanthan, has described the retiring additional secretary as a man of humility and sincerity, who could face any kind of challenges with composure.

Yanthan credited him for creating a good and conducive working environment at Raj Bhavan and also tagged him as the ‘Moving encyclopedia.’

He reminded the officers and staff to follow his examples and learn the rich knowledge and the legacy he has left behind.

In his farewell speech, George Abraham thanked the Almighty for the service he could render to the government and to the people of Nagaland, adding that the completion of his service career in good health was an achievement.

Abraham also shared glimpses of his experience serving in the highest office of the state and stated that he has gained professional personal growth in knowledge, wisdom and friendship. Abraham further thanked all the people he worked with stating that he could complete serving the government for three and a half decade only through their support and cooperation.
