Weather forecast: Rainy days ahead in Nagaland

Dimapur, July 3: Nagaland is expected to experience light to moderate rains in the next two days along with isolated heavy spells which may commence in several parts of the state.

Weather forecast from Skymet Weather on Wednesday informed that moderate winds from Bay of Bengal will continue to feed moisture to the region in the upcoming days. This will result in a rainy week. “These on and off good rains are expected to continue until July 9. Thereafter, the intensity may go down a little,” it stated.

According to the forecast for July 3 to the 9th, Dimapur will witness rains throughout the week with rainfalls between 0 and 8mm. Maximum temperature will settle between 33°C and 35°C while minimum will be around 26°.

A rainy week is expected in Kohima with rainfalls between 24mm and 74 mm, and maximum temperatures will measure between 27°C and 34°C while minimum will remain at 21°C.

Mokokchung, Wokha and Longleng will receive rain all through the week. Tuensang too will witness a similar pattern.

Temperature in Zunheboto will stand between 31°C and 34 °C while minimum will be around 21°C.

Phek will have a rainy week with maximums between 27°C and 34°C and minimums close to 21°C.

Rainfall will continue in Mon and Peren with maximums around 28°C and minimums around 25°C.
