Dimapur, June 28: Nagaland is expected to experience light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells till June 29. The state is experiencing a rain deficiency by 24%, according to a Skymet Weather report. Thereafter, the intensity of the rain is expected to decrease by some extent, although scattered rains will continue.
According to Skymet Weather, the weekly forecast report (from June 26 to July 2) is as follows:
Rainfall activities will continue throughout the week in Dimapur. Maximum temperature will be 34° C, which will further reach to a scorching 37° C on June 30 and July 1, while minimum temperature will be around 27° C.
Kohima will witness rains every day with maximums between 28° C and 35° C; and minimum will be around 22° C.
Mokokchung will receive rains throughout the week. Maximum temperature will settle between 27° C and 34° C while minimum temperature will be around 23° C.
Mon will also see rains throughout the week with maximums between 29° C and 33° C, and minimum to be around 25° C. Similar pattern will follow over Longleng and Tuensang with maximums between 28° C and 32° C while minimums will be around 24° C and 21° C respectively.
Maximum temperature for Wokha will be around 29° C and minimum will be 24° C.
For Zunheboto and Kiphire, maximum will be around 30° C; while minimum will be 20° C to 24° C and 19° C respectively.
