Dimapur, May 24 (EMN): A total of five community quarantine centres were inaugurated recently at Ahthibung town under Peren district in the presence of the SDO (C) Ruopfukuotuo Noudi, members of Ahthibung Adhoc-Town Committee, GBs, officials from the health and police departments, Kuki Inpi, AYSU, Kuki Mothers’ Association and members of the quarantine facility management board.
A press release from Chungminthang Singson, member secretary of Quarantine Facility Centre, Ahthibung, informed that a brief dedication ceremony was held in the presence of government officials and civil society organisations at the Institutional Quarantine Facility Centres, Ahthibung.
The brief programme was chaired by Tonga Hangsing, manager of Quarantine Facility Centre. The various quarantine centres were dedicated by Rev. Janglam, Rev. Lenkhokam Hangsing, Upa Paongul, Rev. K Singsit, and pastor Seilun Singson
The centres were arranged with the participation of all stakeholders to enable accommodation of 70 inmates.
