DIMAPUR — Under the DREAM Nagaland initiative, the Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship is conducting a special registration campaign for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) from March 1 to the 31st.
According to a DIPR report, the drive aims to ensure inclusive and accessible registration of PwDs as job seekers, in line with the 4% job reservation mandated under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
The campaign is being implemented across all districts with Employment Exchange Units, with collected data to be integrated into the Employment Exchange Live Register.
In Kohima district, the Regional Employment Exchange, in collaboration with the district administration, has been organising registration camps at the sub-divisional level.

T Yimlikhumzuk, Regional Employment Officer, Kohima,stated that camps were held from March 20 to the 24th in Jakhama sub-division, followed by Chiephobozou on March 26, and Kohima on March 28. Another camp is scheduled at Sechu Zubza on March 30 from 10
Eligible applicants must be at least 14 years old, have a minimum qualification of Class 8, and possess a UDID card or medical certificate from a competent authority.
