PWD (R&B) clears blocked road at Tuensang village

Kaimang Chang along with the PWD department at the flood- hit- areas at Tuensang village.[/caption] Dimapur, Nov. 29 (EMN): The PWD (R and B), Tuensang division has cleared the road at Tuensang village which was blocked by debris brought in by the monsoon floods in the month of August. A press release received here on Thursday stated that the department deployed JCP excavator and manpower for clearing the blocked road. The road, according to the press release, which took some days to be cleared, is the only lifeline for Tuensang village. Meanwhile, the 'Tuensang village K/ Khel village council chairman', N. Kaimang Chang expressed sincere gratitude to E.E. PWD (R&B) Tuensang, Menang Lepden Ao, for taking the initiative in clearing the flood-affected road.  While deeply appreciating the government agency, the council assured support and cooperation towards the department and hoped that it would continue with its 'humanitarian' works even in the days to come.
