Dimapur, Sep. 28 (EMN): The first ever Referee Clinic and Technical Orientation Training for the members of Phek Wrestling Association (PWA) was held at the Phek village local ground on Saturday, September 28. The training was organised in view of the upcoming proposed pre-celebration of PWA Golden Jubilee slated in the first part of January 2019
According to a press statement issued by PWA general secretary Vepichi Keyho, the day long training was supervised by the Nagaland Wrestling Referee Board (NWRB) convenor and former Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) champion Hukhoneyi Soho and was assisted by former NWA Open Wrestling Champion Surhoneyi Soho. NWA senior recorder Kuzhovesa Soho also apprised the trainees of procedural terms of recording the tournament.
The training was imparted with all required technical aspects and conducted technical written test after the training.
Altogether 60 people including trainees, officials and well wishers attended the training.
