PVHSS organises road safety awareness programme

DIMAPUR — Commemorating ‘National Road Safety Month,’ Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School (PVHSS), Dimapur, on Tuesday organised an awareness programme on road safety with the assistant commissioner of police (ACP-Traffic) and officer-in-charge (OC-Traffic), Dimapur, as the resource persons.

An update from the school informed that the event was organised keeping in mind that awareness and education are the only channels to ensure safety for all in Dimapur. It added that the resource persons have educated the student on road safety and discipline to be followed.

It further stated that the guidelines issued in the interest of the public by the traffic personnel from time to time should be adhered to in order to avoid road accident.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by AK Ray, vice principal of the school.
