Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School in Dimapur celebrated the 165th birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore on Saturday.

DIMAPUR — Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School (PVHSS), Dimapur, celebrated the 165th birth anniversary of poet Rabindranath Tagore at the Pranab Jubilee Auditorium on Saturday.
According to an update, Principal Monoj Bhattacharjee, in his speech, talked about the contributions of the poet-philosopher Tagore, based on his work, “Ekla Chalo Re”.

During the celebration, Swami Chinmayanandaji Maharaj, Chairman of the Vidyapith, also praised and shared the works of the great poet based on nature, peace, and humanity.
It said that the opening song was presented by the teachers and students of PVHSS, followed by a display of student performances as a tribute to the poet.
Also, a recitation in Bengali was delivered by Ekhen Konyak of Class 12 (Science).
