Pungro Sub-Divisional Planning and Development Board Meeting held

DIMAPUR — The monthly meeting of the Sub-Divisional Planning and Development Board (SDPDB), Pungro, was held on January 9 at the Pungro Cultural Hall under the chairmanship of S Kiusumew Yimchunger, Advisor for Fire and Emergency Services, Home Guards and Civil Defence, and Relief and Rehabilitation.

ADC Pungro, Vekusheyi Rakho, and EAC Yitachu Thur were also in attendance.

According to a DIPR report, Rakho encouraged members to share constructive ideas during the meeting, while Yimchunger emphasised the importance of regular attendance in the meetings, urging members to actively participate and ensure their presence without fail.

The meeting began with a review of previous agendas, and the discussion covered a wide range of topics related to current and future initiatives, with EAC Yitachu Thur proposing the construction of the SDPDB conference hall.

Later, a meeting of Pungro sub-division heads of office took place to discuss preparations, workload distribution, and strategic planning for the upcoming 75th Republic Day celebration to ensure a coordinated and smooth execution of the event.
