Puma x Pokemon collection launched in India

German clothing brand, Puma, has officially launched its new line of Pokemon-themed collection, including footwear, apparels and accessories.

The new partnership includes a footwear collection with shoes inspired by Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Gengar. Along with Suede, Rider FV, and TRC Blaze Court models that were inspired by Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Gengar, and Squirtle, the sneakers also feature a Puma Slipstream Charmander.

In a press release, the company wrote, “Today, PUMA, in collaboration with The Pokémon Company International, announces its creative collection featuring the incredible world of Pokémon. PUMA takes inspiration from fan-favorite Pokémon – including Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Gengar – for the new collection featuring iconic graphics and playful attention to detail.”

“The collection’s sneakers focus on these beloved Pokémon from the globally popular entertainment franchise, as highlighted by the PUMA Slipstream Charmander as well as PUMA’s Suede, Rider FV, and TRC Blaze Court, which are inspired by Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Gengar. Through the footwear range, Pokémon fans will find hidden details on the tongue label, insole, and heel.”

Sherpa jackets, sweatpants, a variety of cotton t-shirts, relaxed crew shirts, and hoodies are among the Puma x Pokemon collaboration clothing items. The collection also includes beanies and messenger bags with Pokemon-inspired graphics.

Additionally, Foot Locker and The Pokemon Center website will exclusively sell a “capsule collection” that includes the RS-X Pikachu displays as well as a few pieces of clothing, footwear, and other Pokemon-themed accessories.

For Indian users, the official Puma website has some of the items from the collection on sale but please be advised that many of the popular items like Pikachu-themed sneakers were not available at the time of writing.
