Dimapur, Oct. 6 (EMN): Governor RN Ravi and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio have extended Durga Puja and Dussehra greetings.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Ravi hoped that the occasion would strengthen the moral foundation of society and “turn people away from all that divides and destroys”. He wished for a society free from malice, and full of brotherhood and compassion.
Meanwhile, the chief minister wrote on twitter: “Greetings to all those who are celebrating Durga Puja. May the celebration of the festival have countless moments of joy and bring blessings.”
